Rare "Faithfull Freddie" compass on submarine drum "of the Royal Navy.

The "Freddie" was a small compass so that it could be mounted at the top of the submarine kiosk. They were produced from 1909 until the end of World War II. The polished brass compass, on a cardan mount with its alidade. Very heavy about 11 kg.
An indispensable piece for a collector.
