The SS Bremen is a German liner built in Bremen for the Norddeutscher Lloyd in 1928. It is for one year holder of the Blue Ribbon on the way to the west, and for six years on the way to the east. His sister-ship, the Europa, was recovered by France after the Second World War and took the name of Liberty. As for Bremen, intended to serve as a troop carrier for the invasion of England, it was set on fire in 1941.
